    Mckinley 64" recurve

    PROS :
The bow has a sturdy and solid construction. It's VERY beautiful, the woods combination it's just perfect, warm wood colors made a very elegant bow. The lines are beautiful remind's me the Bear Kodiak recurve bow. It's 64" lenght is perfect for a long draw as mine. (30") . The limbs are wide and strong. The limbs wood that I supouse could be two lams of maple under black fiber glass with reinforced tips to use fast flight, Dyneema or other modern bow string.
It's VERY ACCURATE and silent. I installed a rubber limbsavers any way. The bow comes with Dyneema double loop string. I made a flemish fast fight string and installed a silencers on it.
I'm using carbon arrows with 5" feathers and 100 gr. Field points. The bow shoot like a dream.. Has a large sight window so you can see the target and arrow point clearest than other sight windows.
The grip is VERY, VERY COMMFORTABLE ! xl size, perfect to my gorilla size hand. The hand position is consistent every time I shoot. I don't checked the arrow speed in the chrono yet, but I will. But looks fast.
    CONS :
I ordered the 50# version. I supouse that, the 50# it's to 28" draw. Well IT'S NOT. At my 30" draw the bow give me just 45#. The razon ? Well, I don't know, maybe just it's a mistake on the bow info or maybe could be relationated with the VERY LARGE arrow rest and wider sight window.
I have to be honest, 45# resoult in a VERY confortable bow to pull, hold and shot. This was a Happy Accident for me. My arrows group is so tight. For 3D ? More than perfect. To hunt ? I don't try it yet. Maybe next mond.
Great bow ar a great price. Just check the poundage before you buy. Or order a 10# higher than the original poundage you want.
I believe that you will very happy shooting this bow.
